About UsWe are a large farm located in Essex, England, where we keep and breed over 200 top quality horses, ponies and donkeys. Our finest equines are available for breeding across the globe, producing colts and fillies that are, in time, to be bred, shown and raced by their owners. Many of our horses are shown across Britain at various levels, from local fun shows to some of the toughest competition in Europe. We have amassed a large collection of awards within our two years of showing, including a large number of equines qualifying for BMECs (British Model Equine Championships). Many of these equines have attended the championships either with us or their previous owners, and we have two Top Tens and a Reserve Champion title from BMECs amongst our collection of prestigious awards. |

Our HorsesWhen they reach the age of four, our stallions become available for stud and our mares become available for breeding. Geldings are listed for personal records - some may have had offspring before castration or have frozen semen, which will be noted. Please do not ask to use our geldings that are not specified as available. Many of our horses will have two names in their profile. The first name is their official breeding name which is selected to meet breed naming rules. The second name will always begin with OTE, our prefix, and is the name that was given to them by Oak Tree Equestrian (a 'barn name', if you will) upon purchase, therefore the name we will know them by . When recording our horses in your documentation, please use the breeding name. When breeds do not have naming rules that would cause us to have to change the name of our horse, they will often have the same breeding and barn names, sometimes with varying pre/suffixes where often seen in the real horse world. Some horses will still be waiting for their pedigrees to be approved, in which case your breedings will only be approved after this happens. These horses are not marked but can be confirmed with specific requests. The owners are aware that these unapproved breedings have been published - I have no other way of keeping record at this time, so they are published and then revised at a later date by the owners of the horses we use in our pedigrees. Please be sure that you consider genetics and pay close attention to detail when looking to use our horses in your pedigrees. If you would like to cross breed with our horses, please contact us to see if this is possible. Thank You!

Important NotesThe equines featured on this website are all models and are not real. They are all owned by us unless otherwise stated. Those that do not belong to us have been used here with permission from the owner and credit has been given.
Although the pedigrees we make for our horses are primarily built using model horses from other farms, it is not unusual for the owners of said horses to have used real horses in their pedigrees. This is for realism and educational purposes only, and does not financially benefit any of those involved. We would appreciate it if before using any of our horses, either in your pedigrees or using our photographs, that you ask permission. Using any material found here without our consent is theft. Our horses are all ageing and will only be available to breed up to a certain point. The number of youngstock per horse however may not necessarily be limited - embryo transfers and artificial insemination are procedures that we will consider using to benefit the quality of our equines. |
