I've actually made lots of progress in the way of dioramas, and had several show successes...
This is all fun, and I'm proud of all the achievements that these pieces have come to amass, especially since all tack featured in the entries is also my own work. However, the original intention was that these dioramas were to be fun. To be used to take photos, as inspired by Christine over at Last Alliance Studios.
It is not so rare that I actually get the feeling that I would like to take some photos in these dioramas, but I usually lack the motivation to get a diorama down off the shelf, whack out the tack/props, and really fix up a nice scene to photograph. This motivation came just a couple of days ago, conveniently at around midnight, and so I got my stables out, stuck the flash on and took some pictures. They're not the best, but they were fun all the same. That's what counts, right?!

The time is coming to prepare for Halloweenies, my favourite live show of the year, and with 7 performance classes to enter, I am anticipating a busy tack, prop and diorama making period ahead. If there's ever been a time for organisation, it's then!
Maybe this will spark further outbursts of photographs? Maybe.
